Recipe: Farm Julep


Serves 1

INGREDIENTS:
- 3 oz of Watermelon Juice*
-1/2 oz of Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice
- 1/2 oz Mint Syrup**
- 3/4 oz of Green Lime Juice
- 2 oz Rum (we use Matusalém otherwise Bacardi works)
- 1/4 oz Controy
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Mix everything together in a Mason Jar and decorate with a mint leaf.

*To make watermelon juice, blend chunks of watermelon in a blender and then strain it
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
** How to make Mint Syrup:
- 1 Cup of Water
- 1/4 Cup of Honey, Agave or Sugar
- A bunch of Mint Leaves
Bring water, sugar/honey or agave and mint leaves to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer until sugars dissolve (approx. 10 mins.)
Remove from heat and steep syrup until flavors combine.
